How does it work?
Our design and implementation services are designed not to distract you from your day job. We manage the process and keep you updated every step of the way.
Energyom will assess the viability of your school for solar energy.
If approved, a Project Manager (PM) will be assigned to your project.
The PM scopes the installation for sign-off.
Your school signs a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with energyom.
Your PM applies for relevant permissions and licenses.
- The school is added to the energyom platform and fundraising begins.
- Once the funding goal is hit, funds are cleared from investors and installation is scheduled.
Installation is carried out by one of our experienced installation partners and overseen by your Project Manager.
- Once the solar plant is operational, the school purchases the energy produced.
- Any energy needed to supplement the energy generated by the plant is purchased from the school’s existing energy supplier.
- Revenue generated from the sale of energy is distributed amongst investors, minus a platform fee, on a monthly basis.
After 20 years, the school assumes ownership of the install, benefiting from an expected additional lifespan of 10 years and free solar energy for that time.
